FHS1961 JUKEBOX

I've reviewed a lot of sites, but reviewing a high school alum webstie for music? That has to take the cake. but still 1961 is the heart of the Satelitte Era

During the 1960-61 school year. Bobby Rydell had a big hit with SWINGIN' SCHOOL. Well the cats and chicks at Farmington High School in Arizona apparently took him up on it and their webstie makes it happeen.

This is a great site for us oldies hounds and I am looking forward to some kind of alliance with them. Since they're the only ones who shoewd when I googled "calss of 1961" maybe I could adopt them as our "Class of the Satellite Era"

I wouldn't consider this a jukebox, more like Cyber-American Bandstand' but they got it right. Props to the folks who did it. they use a video format and much of the material is out of the Satellite Era but still, it's a great free play site. Unfortuantely, they are not reachable The graphics are the gynchiest, the utmost in cool. <

Still in all they're a B+: B for content and an A for cool.

They're worth keeping around so do make a donation. I used 3 of their songs: APACHE, CHARLIE BROWN and SINCE YOU'VE BEEN GONE. Have you any idea of how important those are?
